Real County Historical Museum – It’s The Real Deal!

Just 21 miles East of Camp Wood via Ranch Rd 337 is Leakey, Texas – a teeny town with a big personality. Take a little day trip to Leakey to visit the Real County Historical Museum. It’s open on Fridays and Saturdays, March through mid-December. 

You’ll see ornately carved stagecoaches, brass bedsteads, old-timey movie posters, antique clothing, wagon wheels, paintings of Hill Country, player pianos, Victrolas, love seats, crocheted doilies, weapons, farm implements, taxidermy animals, and old-fashioned gizmos you’ve never even heard of. There’s a gift shop too.
